Today

Today, my friends. Today is the day.

The day I finished the first draft of Devolutionaries! Bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!

Think of me jumping in crazed wild circles around the house. Even though I'm not 'cause it'll wake Gooser (the baby).

Okay. Breathing. I'm a little excited. Boone (my hubs) even gave me a round of applause.

And really? I totally deserve it! Even though I already know at least twelve places where it sucks, the completion of the first draft is utterly applause-worthy.

    Man I had so many false "I'm done!" moments.

    Uh, I can't wait until I can say "I'm done" and not find out I'm WRONG right afterwords!

    By the way, I love the title of your book. Sounds interesting!

    That's so awesome! My daughter learned the whole round of applause thing in school. You know when you clap and make a circle in the air while your clapping? Anyway, imagine me giving you one of those right now! You totally deserve it. Go ahead and imagine me standing up and doing it...a standing round of applause ovation.

    I saw your comment over on Writing on the Wall, and though it sounds odd, your name was so unique and fun I wanted to see more about the person who owned it. Your blog is beautiful. I wanted to let you know and to congratulate you for finishing your manuscript. That is HUGE. I finished one last week that I know needs a major overhaul, but right now I'm basking in the words, "the end." :) Congratulations again!
