Still, I'm calling it a completed draft. As a reward, I finally bought Paranormalcy today.
And there's a gigantic blizzard predicted for tonight.
And I have hot chocolate, curry, candles, and fuzzy socks.
It's gonna be a celebration of blizzard-ic proportions!
So, my friends, what do you do to reward yourself for finishing any part of your WIP?
P.S. Happy Thanksgiving!
Yay! Congratulations on finishing! Buying a book for any accomplishment is totally my way of dealing with things. That, and watching TV shows/movies. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteI'm not really here because I'm supposed to be working on revisions, but yay! And your reward sounds fabulous, blizzard included. There's nothing like being warm and cozy while it's cold and snowy outside.
I'm only 6 chapters off of finishing my draft 3. Not sure how I'll celebrate, but it'll be something!
Congrats and high five!! You deserve a snuggle down with a good book. :)
ReplyDeleteyay! Congrats on finishing! I am hopefully going to reward finishing NaNo with a new printer, keyboard and desk chair (things I desperately need anyway, but will call rewards ;p)
ReplyDeleteHow awesome for you to be that much closer to a finished product! YAY! As for me, I have to come clean and admit I'm kind of book addict. I've started saving my receipts from the bookstore for the past two months and so far, I've spent $1800.00. Hello, my name is Nathalie, and I'm an addict. LOL
ReplyDeleteVirtual high-5! How do I reward myself? With sleep. =]
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! :D I reward myself by taking a break from the writing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
I was thinking of rewarding myself with atroll bead for my bracelet...but I may just start something new.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I am working on a major rewrite now, too. I don't really have a specific thing I reward myself with... hmmm, note to self: must work on this reward thing.
ReplyDeleteOh, and there is an award for you at my blog :)
