...carpal tunnel! Woot!

Or not.

Take care of your wrists, my writerly friends. You're gonna need them. Here are some exercises to help keep you typing, complete with lovely illustrations.

As for me, I've got to rest mine for a few days so I don't get full-blown carpal tunnel.

Signing out.

No! Carpal tunnel has wounded another writer! Rest those wrists and get better soon.

Oh no! It'll be hard not typing, but it's definitely better than getting full-blown CT. Hope you feel better soon.

Urgh, carpel tunnel! Hope you feel better soon! I have a joint problem with the joints in my fingers and toes. I can't write anything longhand for a while, and if I don't take my meds my fingers start hurting when typing. I feel ya! The things we do to ourselves for our writing ;p

Sorry to hear that, and thanks for the link. This is a good argument for short stories and even flash fiction, at least until we move to voice recognition.

Thanks for the link! My mom has this and I definitely don't want to get it. *off to practice hand movement exercises*

Feel better! I was diagnosed with it when I was 22. I have splints for when they start to bother me. Those exercises look interesting. I'll have to try them.

I'm sorry -- I hope your wrists will feel better! And thank you for the link to the exercises. Carpel tunnel is one of my largest nightmares.

Oh no! I'm sorry you have it...I deal with something like it every day. I have a pinched nerve up in my arm and shoulder. Tingly fingers are becoming old news. Ugh. Be sure to do those exercises and wear a wrist brace at night! Good luck :)

I had pain in my wrists last summer and freaked out! It wasn't carpal tunnel, but it sure got me thinking.

Hi Shallee! Thanks for you input on my book cover!!

I can relate with the carpal tunnel thing. My wrists and side of my h and (near the pinky fingers) have been killing lately. But I do freelance jobs in between writing my book...so it's really all the freelance jobs fault!!

Rest up! Feel better soon.
